Im Yovana.

I am currently trying to lead a healthier lifestyle. Trying to eat better and excersise more.

Im going to start the p90x workout in order to tone my body and lose the unwanted weight.

Im also involved in drum corps which requires you to be on your feet non stop and Im hoping insanity will help me get stronger.

P90x day 6

Kenpo x was really fun. You deffinatly feel like you’re getting trained for martial arts. I didnt realize how much i was sweating.

Day 4 and 5 P90X

Okay, so i forgot to post what i did yesterday but ill do it today.

Since my yoga disk wasnt working, i put on the X-stretch which helped out alot.

For today I did Legs and Back as well as the Ab Ripper. Totally feeling the burn today.

It was tough but i pulled through it.

Day 3 p90x

Chest and shoulders + ab ripper ex!

Because i didnt have weights, i used two big juice bottles full with water. Worked really well! It wasnt as bad as i thought actually.

Ab ripper seemed to go by really fast compared to yesterday. I can pretty much say, thats a good thing!

Im starting to feel so much better about myself! I cannot wait too see results after 2 weeks!

Yoga tomorrow! :)

Day 2 p90x

Started off with warm up for chest and back but realized that i dont have any weights or a pull up bar to continue so i just skipped to the ab ripper! I couldnt do it without the motivation of my friend hayley who did it with me iver skype! I pushed myself to the end and im very proud of myself :)

P90X Day 1

Started off with Plyometrics

Kicked my butt but I got through it. After all, it was my first day.

I realized how out of shape I was when I saw myself modifying some of the exercises. But it’s whatever. I’ll just keep pushing harder tomorrow :)

ive been slacking

Okayy so i havent had the time lately to do anything to try and get fit but i’m starting right now. I finally went on livestrong.com and tracked down what I ate and set a calorie goal for myself. Also, this weekend i am going to be going to connecticut for a drum corps camp and doing lots of Physical Training which will deffinatly motivate me. We’re hopefully doing some Insanity workouts which i am nervous but also very excited about.  I am also bringing home p90x from a fellow corps member who was nice enough to share it with me. Thank god! I am finally going to do this.

Workout for the night

Ran for about 10 minutes on wii fit to warm up and some hula hooping ;) (hula hooping actually makes me sweat more than the run :P)

Did some Insanity excersices such as Power Jacks (which are like jumping jacks, except you open down to a squat) Be careful if you have bad knees.

I also did some mummy kicks (legs straight, alternate low kicks while arms, straight out and parallel to the ground, alternate one over the other)

After that, I did 100 crunches, 100 side crunches on the right and 100 side crunches on the left, followed by 50 normal crunches.

I will post the insanity exercises later if anyone is interested :)
